Senior AI Engineer

Lead the design of Agentic AI frameworks that integrate with enterprise EAM, CMMS, and ERP systems to automate complex operations workflows for large organizations and public-sector clients across Canada.

About the Role

At Triomind, we build Agentic AI frameworks that sit alongside enterprise systems to automate complex workflows across facilities, assets, and capital programs. This is a role for engineers who want to ship AI that real institutions depend on — not another demo.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and ship production-grade Agentic AI systems — multi-agent orchestration, tool use, retrieval, evaluation — that sit alongside enterprise platforms such as IBM Maximo, SAP, Oracle, and Archibus.
  • Own the end-to-end ML / LLM pipeline: data ingestion, retrieval, model selection, prompt and agent design, offline and online evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Partner with domain experts to translate real operational problems into well-scoped AI solutions with measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish engineering standards for AI quality, safety, observability, and cost control; mentor other engineers through design reviews and pair programming.
  • Work directly with clients during pilots and deployments, including occasional on-site workshops.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years shipping ML or LLM-powered products in production.
  • Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with modern LLM / agent tooling (e.g. LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI / Anthropic / Azure OpenAI APIs, vector databases).
  • Solid grasp of retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methodology, tool use, and agent design patterns — not just prompt engineering.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise data sources and APIs (SQL warehouses, REST / GraphQL, Kafka, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead technical work across ambiguous problems and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice to Have

  • Background in enterprise asset management, facilities operations, energy, or capital planning.
  • Experience delivering projects to public-sector clients (government, municipalities, universities, healthcare).
  • Familiarity with Canadian data residency and privacy frameworks (PIPA, PIPEDA, FOIP).
  • Publications or open-source contributions in ML, NLP, or agentic systems.
