Senior Business Analyst

Turn messy enterprise operations into well-scoped AI opportunities — leading discovery, proposal development, and solution design for government, university, and enterprise clients across Alberta and Canada.

About the Role

At Triomind, we build Agentic AI frameworks that sit alongside enterprise systems to automate complex workflows across facilities, assets, and capital programs. This is a role for engineers who want to ship AI that real institutions depend on — not another demo.

What You'll Do

  • Lead client discovery sessions, process mapping, and requirements elicitation across operations, finance, facilities, and IT stakeholders.
  • Support bid development on Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC) and other public-sector procurement channels: interpret RFPs, shape win themes, and co-author proposals with engineering leads.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into clear solution scopes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics for AI and software deliveries.
  • Own functional specifications, wireframes, and journey maps; collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure solutions match real operational workflows.
  • Drive UAT, change management, and post-launch value realization with client teams — including training materials and adoption playbooks.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, representing Triomind in steering committees and executive updates.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of business analysis or solution consulting experience delivering complex technology projects, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven track record writing strong requirements, functional specifications, and proposal content for enterprise or public-sector buyers.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills — comfortable leading workshops with mixed business and technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data literacy: can read schemas, draft basic queries, and validate whether a requirement is actually feasible against the data.
  • Fluent written English with the ability to produce client-ready documents and proposal narratives.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience responding to Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC), MERX, or similar Canadian public-sector RFPs.
  • Domain experience in enterprise asset management, facilities, energy, higher education, or healthcare operations.
  • Familiarity with AI / LLM-powered products and their implications for scoping, evaluation, and change management.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or PMP.
